男子シングルスでは、第21シードのＣ・ノリー（英国）が第29シードのＮ・バシラシヴィリ（ジョージア）を3-6，6-4，6-1の逆転で下し、ATPマスターズ1000初優勝を果たした。

そして女子では、第21シードのＰ・バドサ（スペイン）が第27シードのＶ・アザレンカ（ベラルーシ）を7-6 (7-5)，2-6，7-6 (7-2)のフルセットで下し、こちらもWTA1000果たしました。

男女共に上位シード勢が敗退しての決勝戦となりました。

In the men’s singles, 21st seed C. Norrie (Great Britain) beat 29th seed N. Basilashvili (Georgia) 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 to win his first ATP Masters 1000 title.

In the women’s event, No. 21 seed Paula Badosa of Spain beat No. 27 seed Victoria Azarenka of Belarus 7-6 (7-5), 2-6, 7-6 (7-2) in full sets to win the WTA 1000 title.

Both the men’s and women’s finals saw the top seeded players lose their matches.
