本来なら、今週は東京で、楽天ジャパンオープンが開催されているはずでしたが、コロナウィルスの影響で今年も中止になっています。
日本でトップ選手のプレーを見れないのは寂しい限りです。
特に東京オリンピックでリニューアルされた、有明テニスの森が会場になるはずでしたらから、尚更ですね。
そして海外では、アメリカはインディアンウェルズでATP1000大会が明日、開幕します。
第１シードがUSオープンを制したメドベージェフ、第２シードがチチパスです。
ジョコビッチ、ナダル、フェデラーらが出場しないのは寂しいですが、日本の錦織、西岡が出場します。

Indian Wells ATP 1000 starts tomorrow

It is sad that we cannot see the top players play in Japan.
Especially since the Ariake Tennis Nomori, which was renovated for the Tokyo Olympics, was supposed to be the venue.
And overseas, the ATP 1000 tournament will start tomorrow in Indian Wells, USA.
The top seed is Medvedev, who won the US Open, and the second seed is Tsitsipas.
It is sad that Djokovic, Nadal, and Federer will not be playing, but Nishikori and Nishioka from Japan will be participating.
