その中に、男女合わせて３人の18歳が勝ち上がっています。
男子ではチチパスを下し勝ち上がってきた、アルカラス（スペイン）
女子では、ウィンブルドンでも４回戦に進出した、ラドゥカヌ（英国）
大坂、ケルバーを下して勝ち上がってきたフェルナンデス（カナダ）。
この３人です。
次世代の、その次の世代を担う選手達が頭角を現わしてきていますね。
※フェルナンデスは今大会期間中に19歳の誕生日を迎えました。

Three 18-year-olds in the top 8! *US OPEN

In the US Open, the top 8 of the men’s and women’s singles have been completed.
Among them, there are three 18-year-olds players.
On the men’s side, Alcaraz (Spain) beat Tsitsipas to win the tournament.
On the women’s side, Raducanu (GBR), who also reached the fourth round at Wimbledon.
Fernandez (Canada), who beat Osaka and Kerber to advance.
These are the three.
The next to next generation, are coming into the stage.
(Fernandez celebrated her 19th birthday during this tournament.)
