初日には、2012年のUSオープン王者のMurrayと第３シードのTsitsipasが対戦する好カードがありました！
試合は、フルセットの末にTsitsipasが勝利しました。
○Tsitsipas[3] 2-6, 7-6, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 ●Murray
Murrayのプレーには且つての力強さを感じました。34歳ですが、まだまだやれると感じさせてくれました。
女子では、第３シードのOsakaが危なげなく初戦を突破しました。
大会２日目には、Nishikoriが登場します。
S. Caruso (ITA)と対戦します。
試合は、日本時間の今夜０時に開始となります。
最初だけ、観戦しようと思っています！

The match was won by Tsitsipas after a full set.

Murray is 34 years old, but he still has a lot of potential.
In the women’s singles, No.3 seed Osaka made it through the first round without any problems.
On the second day of the tournament, Nishikori will be in action.
