昨日行われたウィンブルドン、女子シングルス決勝では、第１シードのバーティが、第８シードのプリスコバを、6-3 6-7 6-3のフルセットで下しウィンブルドン初優勝を果たしました。

グランドスラム２勝目となります。
おめでおうアシュリー、優勝が決まった瞬間の姿には感動しました。

多くのものを背負って取り組んでいたのでしょう。

プリスコバは残念でした。最後まで諦めずに戦う姿は立派でした。
きっと次にチャンスが訪れるでしょう。

さて、残すは男子シングルス決勝です。

今夜、第１シードのジョコビッチに、第７シードのベレッティーニが挑みます。

イタリア男子選手、初の決勝進出になります。

ベレッティーニのサーブ、フォアハンドがどこまでジョコビッチを苦しめることができるでしょうか。

全豪オープン、フレンチオープンを優勝しているジョコビッチ。
今年は、年間グランドスラムに加え、オリンピック優勝も加えた年間ゴールデンスラムを狙っています。

In the women’s singles final at Wimbledon yesterday, top-seeded Barty won her first Wimbledon title by defeating eighth-seeded Pliskova in full sets, 6-3 6-7 6-3.

This is her second Grand Slam victory.
Congratulations to Ashleigh, I was very impressed with the way she looked when she won.

I’m sure she had a lot on her shoulders as she worked on it.

I’m sorry about Pliskova. It’s a shame for Pliskova, but it’s great that she never gave up and fought until the end.
I’m sure she will get another chance.

Now, it’s time for the men’s singles final.

Tonight, the No. 7 seed Berrettini will take on the No. 1 seed Djokovic.

This will be the first time for an Italian male player to make it to the final, so let’s see how far his serve and forehand can take Djokovic.

Djokovic has won the Australian Open and the French Open. This year, he is aiming for the Golden Slam, which would include the Olympic title in addition to the Grand Slam of the year.
