フェデラーがクレー出場へ！！

テニスで豊かな人生を。こんにちは、New Normal Tennisの及川です。

フェデラーがクレーコートに帰ってくる！

今年は、全仏オープンとウィンブルドンの間が２週間に狭まり、
クレーシーズンはスキップするのではと思われていたＲ・フェデラー（スイス・39歳、8位）ですが、
祖国スイスのジュネーブで行われるATP250大会へのワイルドカードを取得したニュースが入ってきました！
そして１週間後のフレンチオープンにも出場するようです。

そして、全仏オープンが終わった翌週には、いつも通りハーレで行われるATP500の芝大会に出場してから、
6月28日から始まるウィンブルドンへ出場する予定です。

2020年は全豪オープンしか出場していませんから、
クレーコートでの戦いは、2019年以来となります。

Federer is back on Clay!

Federer is coming back to the clay courts!

This year, the time between the French Open and Wimbledon has narrowed down to two weeks.
It was thought that R. Federer (Switzerland, 39, No. 8) would skip the clay season.
But the news came in that he got a wild card to the ATP 250 tournament in Geneva, Switzerland!
He will also play in the French Open a week later.

And then, the week after the French Open, he’ll play in the ATP 500 grass tournament in Halle, as usual.
And then compete in Wimbledon, which starts on June 28.

He has only competed in the Australian Open in 2020
, so this will be his first time competing on clay since 2019.
