全仏オープン４日目、
男子シングルスの２回戦で、錦織圭は、第23シードのＫ・カチャノフを
4-6 6-2 2-6 6-4 6-4のフルセットの末に下し、３回戦進出を決めました。
やりましたね！
３回戦では、第11シードのバティストゥータ=アグーを下して勝ち上がってきた
スイスのＨ・ラクソネンと対戦します。
１回戦、２回戦とフルセットを戦っている錦織。
格下の選手ですから、なんとか短い試合で勝利してほしいですね。
そして、本日は２回戦で、もう１人の日本選手、西岡良仁が、イタリアの19歳、Ｌ・ムセッティと対戦します。
両者は前哨戦で対戦しており、西岡がストレートで勝利しています。

Nishikori defeats No.23 seed and advance to third round *French Open

It’s day 4 of the French Open.
On the fourth day of the French Open, Kei Nishikori defeated the 23rd seeded Khachanov in the second round of the men’s singles tournament.
Kei defeated Khachanov 4-6 6-2 2-6 6-4 6-4 to advance to the third round.
Keiu did it!
In the third round, Kei will face H. Laaksonen of Switzerland, who came through with a win over 11th seed Baptista-Agut.
Nishikori has played full sets in the first and second rounds.
Laaksonen is a lower-ranked player, so I hope Kei can manage to win a short match.
In the second round today, another Japanese player, Yoshihito Nishioka, will face L. Musetti, a 19-year-old from Italy.
They met in the preliminaries, and Nishioka won in straight sets.
