6月28日からロンドンで始まるウィンブルドンは、観客を50%入れて開催すると発表がありました。
男女シングルスの決勝は100%の観客で開催するそうです。

そして、8月30日からニューヨークで開催される今年最後のグランドスラム大会、USオープンは観客を100%入れて開催となりました。

主要国がコロナウィルスとの戦いに終わりを迎えようとしているのを感じます。

いまだに決まらないのが東京オリンピックです。
緊急事態宣言が明ける20日以降に決まりそうです。

テニス競技は、7月24日から始ります。

無観客開催できないのは、どんな事情があるのでしょうか？

そして、残念なニュースも。
ナダルが、ウィンブルドンと東京オリンピックを欠場し休養に当てることになりました。

フェデラーの調子も上がってきていないようです。
ウィンブルドンは、またジョコビッチとチチパスを中心に優勝が競われるような気がします。
