２つの悲しいニュース★全仏オープン

月曜日の朝、２つの悲しい出来事が、、、、

１つは、早朝４時から行われた男子シングルス４回戦

錦織圭は、第６シードのＡ・ズベレフに、4-6 1-6 1-6 のストレートで敗れました。
前哨戦のローマでは、逆転で惜しくも敗れていたので、リベンジと期待していましたが、完敗でした。
試合時間、僅か１時間54分。
ズベレフは攻撃力だけではなく、長い手足を活かしたディフェンス能力も凄く高い選手だと感じました。

私の優勝予想、
男子、ズベレフ
女子、シフィオンテク
は、もしかしたら、当たるかも知れません、、、、

そして、もう１つのニュースは、

16強入りを決めていた、Ｒ・フェデラーが４回戦を前に棄権すると発表がありました。
「芝シーズンを前に、無理をしたくない」というのが理由のようです。

フェデラーの本命はウィンブルドンですからね。
大ファンとしては、受け入れたいと思います。

Kei Nishikori lost in straight sets to the 6th seeded A. Zverev, 4-6, 1-6, 1-6.
Kei Nishikori had lost to A. Zverev in the previous round in Rome in an upset, so I was hoping for revenge, but he was completely defeated.
